Picked Skin Tag?

Question

I picked a skin tag on my armpit so that it would go away & it looks like it's not there anymore but now it seems like I have a pimple right where it was because it looks like one.
Why is this???
What should I do now???
What should I do to make the pimple go away???

You already asked this. Skin tags are skin tags and are no way related to acne. Once you take it off it's gone. I would never pick one off, I would have a doctor take it off the right way. You make this sound like it's some earth-shattering problem. Just leave the damn thing alone.

My dermatologist always cuts off my skin tags with scissors, so I'm sure it's okay that it's gone, but it sounds like it might have gotten some dirt in it when you picked it. Personally, and this isn't medical advice, I'd pick the zit-looking thing then treat it like a cut -- clean it out, then slap on some of that goo... bacitracin?

My Dr. use to cut mine off now I just do it myself. They look like what you're describing when they get cut off. LEAVE IT alone now.
