I wouldn't do blonde highlights on mousey hair, that was the first way I dyed my hair and I have the same hair type, and it didn't look great at all. What colour you dye should really depend on the thickness of your hair, the colour of your eyebrows and your skin tone so it doesn't look to unnatural. It would probably be better if you got it done professionally just because they will know what will look the most flattering for your hair type and skin tone

I would only get highlights ... and then do things like protein conditioners to bring up the sheen ..the less you do serious chemical treatment on your hair the better ... do not go blonde unless: you have "blonde skin" and unless you like fussing a lot ...you are better off with your own color ,, and the highliights need to be done in fine strands rather than big handfuls... so it looks sunkissed ... and even they need to be redone.
Also, get a good cut, preferably one that does not require setting and curling.

Blonde highlights, to me, seem superb in gentle brown hair. i'm getting blonde highlights each and each of the time, and that i have gentle brown hair. you may do them your self, or only get a pal to do them. you'll get blonde highlights in a field from Walmart, for lower than 15 money or so, and they comprise a cap to placed over your head, and some thing to drag your hair by skill of the holes in it. it provide you with each and each of the academic, and that i assure you that it's going to seem professional with out spending too a lot money!

I do not think you should dye it! I had the same kind of hair when I was little. N ow I have diaganal bangs and I just straiten it, but don't straiten youre hair too much or it will burn. Also insted of dyeing youre hair, which can harm it, you could also put lemone juice in it and the more you do it the blonder it gets.Hope that helps!

Going all blonde might be a bit extreme to start off with, I would put a few blonde/copper highlights in to see how you like it (this'll make your hair look thicker also). If you do like it you can go as far as you like. Highlights are not as high maintenance either.

I agree. First start with blonde highlights. I'm blonde and want to have brown hair.

yes i think so but pleasee pleasee make sure that is a honey colour not a barbie blonde... i have a feeling that a too soft like whitish colour will look like trash in your hair...

well i think it would look really cute as blonde. so yeah i would do that. also i would ask the hair dresser first what he or she thinks it would look good as because they know best. like tell them you want to change your hair color to a blonde color and they will give you a whole bunch of colors to choose from and they will tell you which one would look best on you!

your hairdresser will advise you on what type of blonde will look best with your skin tone, so if you consult the hairdressers first it should look fine! maybe try getting highlights first so you are used to it
