by getting a mac. you will never have any problems on a mac. you will have nothing but problems with dell.

I completely agree with Jarhead.
I have a Dell XPS 410 and it came with a blue CD that is titled "Drivers and Utilities".
Put this CD in the drive. Then double click on the "My Computer" icon on your desk top. Then double click on the drive that the cd is in.
All the drivers, etc. will be shown. Scroll down through them and install any/all audio and video drivers.

You should have the Blue Dell Disc, if not then go to driverguide and sign up for the free account, search and download what you need, Good Luck
