I just got my little boy Prince neutered this morning and just picked him up about an hour ago. However, he is very hyper and jumping and running around, I just can't get him to stop. I put him in a carrier to try and calm him down but that just did not work. he doesn't have stitches (they don't use them for this procedure) So I'm scared he's going to rip himself open!!

I would definitely call your vet. When I had my cat neutered he was pretty lethargic for the rest of the day.

your cat is freaked out and doing the only thing it can to relieve itself of the stress. Confine your cat to one room and stay with him there for a while, until he comes to you. He'll relax after a bit.

It might also be a side effect of the anesthesia, ask your vet.

Call your vet. They're usually really mellow after coming home from this kind of procedure.
