I want to get a tattoo of a shooting star but i dont know where to put it. I'm worried about it being visible when i have to go to a formal event. my original plan was to put it on my left shoulder blade but obviously it would be visible so any suggestions would be great.

Getting a tattoo is a very personal thing. And where to place it is also the same way. Areas that are coverable. Tops of feet, that would be cute! Lower back. Showing a tastefull tattoo isn't a bad thing anymore these days. You are pretty limited if you don't want it to show.

I have a friend that got it on her forearm, up a little, so that when she went to formal events it could be covered by a jacket or long-sleeves. I understand the impediments of this (i.e. not wanting to where long-sleeves)... but I know another friend who got it on his calf... if all else fails, just remember. When you are old, your skin sags. That tattoo will not be in the same place after 50 years... so think it through.

It would look nice if you put it on the left side of your stomach rich wear the pants hit....that way when your at a formal party they cant see it but when your out swimming or something you can show its off...

hae there i recon you should get it on your back on the right hand side down the bottom just about hip level it would look really cute ther that way you would still c it when you worn nice small tops in the summer and you could cover it up when ever you wanted to x

I think it would look good to have the star right on your hip bone and the shooting part curving back a little along your hip.

i was faced with the same dilema and i decided to put it on my lower back because it wouldn't be visible to others only those who i want to see it. if you are concerned about showing it off at the beach then you can get a bathing suite (2 or 1 piece) that will hide it. good luck.

I have my tat under my belly button to the right... I can hide it whenever or wear low rise jeans and show it off!

The hottest place to put a tattoo on a girl would have to be right above the butt because thats what your partner looks at when your having intercourse. lol and it is well the hottest place to put it!

Sweetie,i think that would be cute on your lower back.Right above where your jeans/bottoms stop.That would be cute,and it would be covered up anytime you needed it to be!Maybe even on your side,kind of where your hip bone is...that would be cute too!Good luck hun,and have a good day!Hope it turns out good where ever you decide to put it!
