she should accept you as you are ,..and as long as you are doing the very best you can do.
Don't ever let her down.

Show her the paper. Tell her you feel awful about it and you're not sure why you got such a low grade, that you really thought you understood the material.
Then tell her you'd like to stay after school to get some extra help from your teacher... and then make an appointment to do that.
Tell her you know she's disappointed in the grade and you are too. Then tell her you'll keep her posted on your progress in that class and work really hard to bring your grade up because you know you can do it and then thank her for believing in you... because she does.... probably more than you'll ever believe in yourself.

Forge her signiture. If it looks like a perfect match and she's signed stuff before it shouldn't be a problem. Just in case though make sure you block the schools number. Every teen should be sleeping with a nerd genius in school who can hack into the pcs and change the grades just in case.
If your not willing to do this then have your dad sign it and ask him to lie for/with you to your mother. Believe me it will strengthen your bond with him, and what your mother doesn't know, wont hurt her.

Bad grades happen from time to time. Before you show it her to sign, tell her your mad at yourself for getting a 65, but your grades are still good, and you will try your best to not let it happen again. Parents love it when kids take responsibility and have a plan for the future.

First show it to her, sometimes things have a way of getting out. If you can, hand on heart, tell her you worked hard to get this mark I can`t see her being angry. If you didn1t tell her this is a wakeup call But hey 65 ain`t the end of the world. Good luck.

Just let her sign it. You can't have all a's all the time. She'll probably just tell you to work harder next time is all. My parents were strict about that too, but besides, math is a hard subject. Don't be too hard on yourself. She's going to find out eventually anyway.

Parents always hold their children to a higher standard. If you can't stand the fact of not showing her the paper show it to her than. Be prepared for the consequences. If she is angry tell her all the other good things you have done.

Surely she's sensible, right? Tell her why you failed. Is it because you don't understand math, your teacher sucks, you missed a major assignment, bombed a test, why? If you're disappointed in yourself, tell her. See what she suggests you do to improve. You can start by saying: "I need to show you my report card and I got a bad grade, I know you're not going to be happy about it...neither am I...I need help."
If you're close to your dad, ask for his opinion.

IT IS HARD TO SHOW YOUR PARENT WHAT YOU GOT ON A PIECE OF PAPER WHEN SHE WANTS YOU TO GET ALL A'S. SIT DOWN WITH HER AND TELL HER THAT YOU ARE NOT PERFECT AND NO ONE IS. AND THAT YOU ARE DOING THE BEST YOU CAN, AND SHE SHOULD BE HAPPY IN WHAT EVER GRADE YOU GOT , UNLESS YOU FAILED OR A D OR F. BUT A B IS STILL GOOD. HAVE YOUR DAD THERE WITH YOU WHEN YOU SHOW IT TO HER. JUST DO THE BEST YOU CAN, GOOD LUCK.
