It's NOT ok for black or white comics to spew insults at anyone.
Some blacks (Chris Rock) make fun of themselves and blacks in general. Good comics know where to draw the line.

I answered a question like this a while ago. I am a black woman. I hate racial comedy. I don't care who does it. I am so tired of black comics and rappers using the "N" word all of the time. I think blacks feel that since we have been oppressed for over 300 years,that we have a right to do it. I deplore it all. What ever happened to mother-in-law jokes? There are a lot of things to find humor in!

Because white people are thought of as racist if they do the same thing to black people. It probably goes back to slavery and white people feeling like they should be sorry for what happened hundreds of years ago.

Hispanics make fun of themselves too. It's all for laughs and fun. Just don't become a white comic if you think it is unfair.

Well I wouldn't necessarily think it's a "favor" but... You're right, people are way too critical of jokes these days. It's a joke, you laugh at it, then move on.

Back in the day when it was 'acceptable' to treat Black people like crap, the wiser White people would observe this and tell the small child next to them, be careful, because one day it will be 'their' day. Well, I guess I would have to agree that their day has finally come. Thank your grandparents and great-grandparents generations, they did this.

It isn't, but they get away with it. Whites have become too afraid to do anything. I am not sure what the solution is. But law suites and violence wont help.

judge JOE BROWN, has alot to say about this and the rappers, hate is so awful in any form, and to make money from it makes it even worse, someday, it will stop, lets hope anyways
