I used to wash it every day, out of habit, but my stylist advised me to stop. Now I wash it every other day, and on the days I don't wash it I use a light conditioner on the ends to keep it soft.
It's actually healtier for your hair not to wash it every day, as washing it strips it of vital oils that shampoos and conditioners just can't replace. You'll find that if you can go every other day, your hair will be softer and more manageable. Of course, if you have extremely oily hair, that might not be an option, in which case you shoud look for the most gentle shampoo you can find.

if u have fine hair it can appear greasy after a day and you then feel the need to wash it again but stop!you are drying out your hair, the grease you see is natural oils which act as conditioners.if you want ur hair to look good after the first day you need to blowdry it with a vent and round brush to lift the root so you get some body in it.if you let it dry naturally it dry's flat causeing the hair to compact itself on top of each other which collects the oils and thus u have greasy hair.try every second day instead and try the blow dry tip.
Also use a light shampoo and light weight conditioner maybe even a leave in spray conditioner so you dnt weigh it down.

i have very fine hair that is now between my chin and my shoulders-i can go nine months until i need a quarter inch trim-i've been growing it out from about an inch and a half (it hasn't been any longer than that for ten years) i don't dye it anymore and i heat style it twice a month-i wash it every two or three days and when i do i use a clarifying shampoo and a deep conditioning pack on it for three to ten minutes-it looks like glass and i never have to style it-it just dries perfectly-i've never had hair this easy-but i do wet it down every single day and let it air dry

I wash it every other day or every 2 days. The reason is double: first, my hair tends to be dry and it takes a long time for the oils to accumulate, and second, my hair is dyed and I want the color to last as long as possible.

I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. The natural oils help keep my hair from being to frizzy/fluffly. I also make sure I use a really good shampoo and conditioner.. No store bought brands, they tend to be loaded with lots of oil.

It relies upon on what type of hair you've. From what you're saying i ought to guess that your hair is fantastically right now. frequently the curlier your hair the drier it truly is, so curly haired human beings shouldn't wash their hair with shampoo each day. yet on your case i imagine it truly is a good suggestion to stay with shampooing your hair each day because your hair receives greasy. per chance your skin is gentle to chemical compounds and it really is the reason you nonetheless have dandruff. you should target a number of Burt's Bees products.

I personally think it is best to wash every two days. Washing your hair everyday can actually dry out your scalp even if you use conditioner.

My hair won't do a thing the day I wash it... My hair stylist told me that if you can get away with it (thankfully I can) you should only wash your hair once or twice a week.
