I thought crackers were salty and cookies sweet but animal crackers are sweet. Go figure.

Ask the Brits. They got it right to call 'em all biscuits. Some are sweet and some are savory. That's how they came to America too. Don't know what we did with 'em once they arrived - lol

(Probably botched it up pretty much like the chip/crisp/fry fiasco...)

Animal crackers are a graham cracker, so they aren't as salty as most crackers. Crackers are normally low in sugar compared to cookies. Graham crackers don't have a lot of sugar.

Yeah,but they usually count as cookies especially the ones with icing on them
