This was an actual question asked during a job interview. After I hear everyone elses responses, I'll post the response that earned a man the job.
"You're driving down the road when you see three people sitting out in the cold at a bus stop. One of them is an elderly lady who is about to die if she doesnt receive medical attention in time. Another is your best friend, who saved your life once before. The other is your soul mate, your one and only in this world; the love of your life. Knowing that you can only fit one other person in the car with you, who goes and who stays??"

The ans might be to give your keys to the friend & stay with the soul mate, but I don't agree.
Since your friend & your soulmate aren't in any danger, they can stay. On the other hand, I think I would call an ambulance, the fire department & the paramedics, since they might be better equiped to take care of the old lady on the way to the hospital than the rest of us.

i'd get out the car and let the old lady and my best friend go to the hospital, staying with my soul mate my best friend would come back give me the car and me and my sould mate would drive off, leaving him to wait for the bus because he'll understand, and it wont kill him to wait for the bus, i assume i'm driving a mercede smart if only one other person fits

you give the car keys to your best friend and you let him take the old lady to the hospital. You stay at the bus stop with the girl because she's the girl of your dreams, right? So everything is going to be ok.

well, my "soul mate" and best friend would understand that the elderly woman was in far more peril sitting there. So I would take the elderly woman to the hospital.

i'd save my soul mate because i'm just that selfish, but the answer is probably to let all 3 freeze because that decision is too hard.
