Why do you want to change the colour of your skin?
I've never understood this strange obsession.
People won't think any better of you if your skin colour changes temporarily, and you won't feel any better yourself, unless you are really strange.
Tanning does nothing other than affect your chances of skin cancer, and let people know you do nothing more interesting than lying on the beach when you visit a different country.
Get a grip, visit somewhere nice, learn something, mix with the locals and learn their language.
Be proud of who you are and what you are and stop trying to change into someone you are not.

The healthiest way to get a tan is to sunbathe in short intervals. Use a sunscreen with spf 15 or higher and only lay out for 10-15 min. This way, you will decrease the chance of getting burnt. Gradual tanning is better than laying out for hours at a time.

try to get under a sunbed for a few days before you sunbathe?
It sounds like you are away on holiday soon? the sunbed will prepare you a little for the real sun and you will have less chance of the skin getting very red and peeling. It will be a more permanent tan :-) the accelerators and other products will not give you a long lasting tan.
good luck.

Hi, Try the Holiday Skin Body Lotion, there is a lot of it on the market, have a look in Boots the chemist. It also helps to keep your tan once you have got it. I always use a high factor sun cream and this helps to protect your skin i never use less than factor 15 and my tan stays. Remember wash your hands when you have used holiday sun cream because even though it is not an instant tan cream it can stain your hands with constant use. Have a great holiday keep safe.......

1. Try to get indoor tanning, I know some people say is dangerous but at least it controls the amount of UV rays and the time u expose.
2. Try to use sunless tanning cream
3. Uf u want to get a hell of a tanning, use sunblock, and expose for several days for little periods.
4. Try Haw. Tropic TOTAL EXPOSURE ( this is a great tanning lotion) but combine it with sunblock
Take care, remember that skin cancer is a serious issue, plus you dont want to look like 60 when you are 30

BEWARE of over-exposure.. skin cancer is not a joke... cooking oil? that'll TOAST YOU .. remember kramer.. with butter.??.. bad idea! only two sunburns.. can elevate 80% the chance of having of skin cancer...
try eating lots of tomatos and carrots, like a week before you hit the beach.. that will give your skin a natural protection and give you a deeper brown tan... never forget a good SPF--it works
seriously though be careful.. the sun can cause a lot of damage... it is cool and sexy to have a tan.. I KNOW.. but its better to be alive and healthy!
