I think we should give it a try because its possible that the reason prayers are never answered is because we are calling out the wrong name.

Exodus 20:5 says: you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God am a jealous God...." that is, jealous of the woship and love of His people. I'm not sure what you are asking.
