My 2 yr old came home from daycare with this fungus infection on top of his head. Per doctors orders Ive been washing his hair twice a week with Selson Blue, but now he has a huge bald spot! Has this happened to anyone else? How long before the hair grew back?

You better get a second opinion on that. It could be a ringworm if his hair is falling out. If left untreated it could damage the hair follicle and never grow back. He needs some type of fungal cream. Make a doctors appt. as soon as you can. If it takes a while to get one then use something that will kill the fungus like athlete's foot med's or just put a dab of clorox on it.(daily) Just so it is not an open wound. Clorox heals it faster than anything. Athlete's foot is just ring worm on your foot so you can use that med. anywhere you need it for ringworm. It may not be ringworm but using these things will help any kind of fungal infection.
I've used it on my children. I studied it in cosmetology. You have to know all types of skin diseases and how to treat them. (Bacteriology)
