I'm looking for ideas other than clicking glasses, ringing bells, singing songs. I want something very unique and wondering if anyone has done or seen something that they would be willing to share.

Go up to the head table and moon them.

If something is too unique or weird, how many people are going to remember to do it? I'd go with the the ringing bells.
"The Kissing Bell - In some cultures, the tradition at a wedding was to ring bells of all kinds when the bride and groom shared their first kiss. The ringing of the bells attracted Heaven's attention, further blessing the union. Over time, bells were rung at the reception as a signal for the new couple to kiss and show their affection for one another."

That's such a lovely tradition- how can anything be better?

Here are some ideas:

1. At our wedding we used the game Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. Basically questions flashed on the screen about us and the selected table had to answer correctly in order to get us to kiss. It was fun as they still had the traditional life lines. Instead of poll the audience we had poll the head table. Each member of our wedding had A,B,C and D cards to hold up. It was a great success!

2. Have a hula hoop. If guests want the b&g to kisss, they have to hula. The couple kisses for as long as they hulahoop.

3. Get the board game OPERATION. If a guest wants them to kiss, they have to successfully pick a card and pull the piece out without the buzzer going off. If the buzzer goes off, they have to kiss the part of the body of their date that they failed to remove (ie// knee, heart, elbow)

4. Get some bean bags (small hand sized ones). Put a hatbox or other object about 10 feet away from a 'start' line. To get the couple to kiss, a guest needs to successfully get the bean bag into the hatbox from 10 feet away.

5.making up a poem (have an improve night - where people get up and make up a poem about love - funny or not) when they are done, the couple kisses

I have been to a wedding that everyone would hold up there napkin and when the bride a groom would see a few napkins they were to kiss.

I have also seen were they people would hold up a candle that was on the table top.

This is were you get the battery operated ones and put one on each table. So the people at the table could take turns, this seem to get them to kiss a whole lot so you could just tell them it has to be at least 3 candles up before they would do it.

Also I have been told that people would stand up and start clapping, this got everyone involved

I attended a wedding where the guests had to sing part/or all of a song that contained the words love, wedding, or kiss in it before the bride and groom would kiss.

It was a blast.

i was at a wedding where, as the introductions of the bridal party were made, the bridesmaids and groomsmen lined up (facing eachother) on the dancefloor, and when the new couple was introduced, they had to walk thru the line of their bridal party, and couldn't pass until they kissed. sometimes the bridal party couples wouldn't let them pass until they kissed quite a few times. it was fun and cute.

i think doing something like that, as well as the singing and glass-tapping is QUITE enough for kissing at the wedding.

Yes, think of a word that every time the bride or groom says the word, they have to kiss. Something like "cake" or "nuts" or "drink".

It works great.

You could put a small wedding decorated bottle of bubbles on each table and instead of the annoying clinging of the glasses, everyone could blow bubbles

At my brother's reception he had a little putting green. And everytime someone got the golf ball in the hole they had to kiss. It worked really good. And it's cheep and easy to do.

Hmm. . .I don't know. Clicking glasses and ringing bells is very annoying, though! Maybe someone could just yell, "Kiss!"
