The versus is actually Acts 26:14
"We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic, 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'
Goads not Gonads. Sometimes it is a matter of actually reading the text. A Goad is a traditional farming implement, used to spur or guide an animal, usually oxen, which are pulling a plough or a cart. It is a type of cattle prod. Though many people are unfamiliar with them today, goads have been common throughout the world. The garrocha is a Mexican type of goad.
So to kick against it would be a useless thing for the animal and in this text it is used as a comparison for how pointless it is for Saul to persecute the church since no matter what he does to defeat the church the power of God and Christ will prevail.
I think that there is a lesson in that for all the Yahoo answer posters who simply ask stupid questions in order to try to downgrade Christianity and believers.

i thought gonads were the testicles? hmm im confused.
but i do know there is a verse in the new testament that says dont kick against the pricks.
I imagine he is talking about the cactus pricks.
Every time a person kicks a prick he will injure himself, best Not to do it all.
hence he also says resist the devil and He will flee and yet Jesus says resist Not evil for in being submissive a person has LESS affliction and tribulation. but at the same time if you are able to resist without affliction, then it should be evident to do so.
what surprises me, is that Jesus first spoke to Saul and it was Paul that later wrote it again, My memory fails me.

a swift kick to the genital area, however you may be referring to the verse in Acts where it is stated : it is "hard to kick against the GOADS"
