Shampoo and Condition your hair. Get a golf ball size amount of the mousse in the palm of your hand and rub your hands to gether. Rub your hand on your scalp and lift the hairs up. Then, blow dry your hair with a round brush, or paddle brush, and lift the hair up as you blow dry. Style your hair and mist with hair spray. You should have TONS of volume.

First you need to towel dry your hair.

How much mousse do you use? Use a generous amount but not so much it ends up sticky afterwards.
Apply it from route to tip (you need less at the ends depending on the length of the hair) and and either blow dry up-side-down or if this is too much volume then direct the dryer upwards and shape your hair by pulling it with your hands.
Another method is to brush your parting over on to one side, dry the routs and then do the same the other way.
Alternatively you can get attachments for hairdryers that pushes the air to the routes and lifts it.

i just read in allure? (i think) that you should dry your hair and then spray the mousse in your hand and take a wide tooth comb and just dip the tips in it and wiggle the thing into your hairline just at the roots-then part your hair in a new spot until you've done it to your whole head-i haven't tried it yet but it doesn't sound too hard or time consuming-flip your head upside down and give it a quick blast of heat while you fluff it with your fingers

You, if you don't want thin hair, need to get a perm. OR you need to buy volumed products, shampoo, condone, and you already have the mousse, so your half way there. All the mentioned above needs to be especially for thin hair. Good luck and remember, it's a trial and error type of sitz, so keep on trying and something will please you, I hope. Do consider that perm though, it does work, it stinks, but works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best thing to do is only apply it at the roots(if you are also putting the mouse on the ends of your hair it will weight it down I have noticed) and then just kinda work it downward. As you blowdry it, just flip your head upside down and pull your hair away from your scalp as you dry it. This usually works for me.

Make sure you work it into your roots really well. When you blow dry, flip your head over so you're blow drying your hair upside down. Try spraying it with hair spray before you flip back up. That should help give it volume. Good luck!

i use it on the roots of my hair. i just sorta rub some into the roots of my hair and then blow dry with my head upside down (weird but it helps with the volume). or use a round brush to lift the hair up while u blow dry.
