me & my bf have decided to start over after 2 yrs., due to him breaking up w/me b/c he said he needed more time for himself: just to go out w/friends, i always thought that he got all the time in the world b/c i only saw him on the weekends. but after our break up my parents & family don't like him b/c of that. but not even a day later he called & wanted me back, he said he couldn't be w/out me. so i took him back. so far we have'nt had no fighting nothing & we've decided to start all over again. but my family still does'nt like him what should i do?

Choose who you want as a boyfriend, and ask your parents to respect your decision.
If the root cause of your breakup is not known and not resolved, it will surface again.
People who have a hard time making commitments usually come up with excuses; it depends if you accept the excuses or not.

You can't make your family like him but if you choose to be with him and everything works out and he redeems himself, they will come around, they will at least tolerate him, tolerance grows to like, like grows to love. Just make sure that you want him back. There has to be reasons why your family doesn't like him, take those into consideration. Good Luck

I found that when my ex-wife and I gave our selves another chance and started all over, we just ended up where we ended the previous time.
She asked for another chance, but I was not willing go around circles all of my life.

Relationships are built on emotions and men are emotional morons. Just know that if you do try to make it work that you're in this by yourself. Men are interested in sex, not your hopes and dreams, or your needs and desires. Even with sex, you'll get it when he wants it, how he wants it, and there's nothing you can do about it. your family mite not understand the depth of what you two share together.So judge this for yourself and listen to your instinct...girls are good at that,just that they always seem to ignore whats right and go with their hearts.So weigh it with your heart ,as well as your head !
