There are many ways to make us stronger. Prayer has already been mentioned at the time I started writing this post, and it is true. Prayer is a very strong tool God has given us to grow. There are also others.

Scripture intake:
Reading the Word of God is one of the other most powerful tools we have. This encompasses reading the Bible, and studying the Bible in detail. The first is like taking a motorboat across a lake. It gives you a good breadth of understanding. The second gives you depth, as if you are crossing the same lake in a slow moving glass bottomed boat.

Worship:
Worshipping our Creator is one of the reasons we exist. Our faith grows stronger when we worship God, because that is what we are designed to do.

Evangelism:
Evangelism is another tool that we have to grow closer to God. Sometimes I find that I learn more about Him by telling other people what I know. Why? Because God is the one that leads my words, not myself, and so while I am sharing with someone else, God may use the same message to speak to me, the one delivering it.

Serving:
It is commanded in Scripture countless times. Christians have received spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit, and the use of those gifts is the fulfillment of His calling, and also falls under worship, which I mentioned earlier.

Fasting:
We often have a very narrow view of fasting: just going without food for a period of time. But fasting is a way that God has given us to grow closer to him. This doesn't just mean food, it can mean television, it can mean hanging out with friends, it can mean a million different things. However, just the absence of whatever the obstacle to our faith may be will not be the answer to growing closer to God. Use the time that you would be using to eat or entertain yourself to spend time with God in one of these other ways mentioned.

Silence and Solitude:
Being alone can help remove distractions that may form that would keep us from being able to fully fix our attention on God. Spending time alone and in quiet can help us refocus.

Journaling:
Keeping track of our Christian walk can be a great way to help see what God has taught us, so that we can understand better how He has been growing us.

Learning:
Books, preachers, teachers, mentors, all of these can help us understand God better and strengthen our faith. A wise man accepts instruction, and loves reproof. We need someone to hold us accountable for our actions, and help us to correct them and learn to apply what we gain from our other disciplines.

Perserverance:
We should always remember that a stronger Christian walk does not happen all at once. It takes time. Some days we may not feel like working out, but if we don't then we get fat and our bodies lose energy. The same goes for our Christian walk. We must be persistent and consistent with our life to grow.

In James 1:2, My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith, produces patience. Read the 1st and 2nd chapter of James, several times. Pay special attention to chapt. 1; v 13-18. Your faith will be made stronger when you ask it of Him. We're all unstable in some ways and we are constantly striving to do right. Sometimes it's difficult to find any good, when things might be going bad at the time. Good luck

Get yourself into a good bible-based church. Go and go often. Keep studying the bible and share it with others. This is about action not intentions. "Faith without works is dead." Seek out other Christians your age and look for those who will guide and mentor you. Also, try to be consistent. Suit up and show up!
God bless you and may your life be transformed by Jesus so that you can help mentor those will be where you are today in your christian walk. Peace

Faith the size of a mustard seed is all you need. With that you can move mountains. Get a devotional/study Bible, like the King James Study Bible, and set aside 30 minutes a day to spend with God and His Word. You will see that your time with God will grow and you will want more and more time with our Father.

Avoid the NIV ... its missing over 300 passages, avoid the Message it is a disgrace to be in the category of being called a Bible, avoid the Purpose Driven Life the author is partners with those that seek Budda and other gods.

Faith in many cases can be translated also as trust. Reading the Bible Genesis-Revelation may give the asker the evidence for faith/trust, others may advise others of additions/subtractions (that do exist) to the word of God, but the final decision of trust Him or not is up to the asker.
May You receive an unmistakable pleasant surprise today!!!

Join a good Bible study- seriously, You need to be fed spiritually regularly- with other believers and spending time each day in the word and prayer- I too forget to do this everyday and I hate when I do, because spending time in the word is so crucial for a christian, not only to build up our faith in the Lord, but His word equips us for battle against the enemy and the Spirit teaches us the truth more and more as we study the word. Bible studies are great! I notice when I am involved in a bible study I am closer to the Lord, and desiring to learn more about Him and His truth.

There are two things that I'm sure will help you:

1) Understand that Jesus called us to be disciples (Hebrew "talmidim"), not just readers. STUDY the Bible under the tutelage of a spiritual pastor; if one is not available, consult scholars who are well-known and generally accepted as accurate. If you need any names, I'd be happy to provide them. This will ensure you are not tossed about by every whim and doctrine. You'll be strong in the faith and able to withstand testing.

2) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you! Pray often that He give you guidance and that He strengthen your faith. Did you know that faith is a spiritual gift? (See 1 Cor. 12:9) Like any other spiritual gift, you must excercise it to make it stronger. Try to identify your other spiritual gift(s) and use it/them in faith. Read the Bible often, using it as a way of feeling close to God. Praise Him even as you read the words. Go to church regularly and fellowship with other believers, and participate in corporate worship. All of these things draws you nearer to him spiritually.

Remember -- God loves you and wants you to succeed!

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. Romans 10:17

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:22

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your F6 works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
James Chapter 2:17-20

Your question is kind of like a person wanting to be physically stronger and asking how do I make myself stronger? How would you answer them. Eat healthy, breathe deeply, exercise more, and watch and wait for the strength to come. Well? Feed on God's Word, pray to God, witness to others, and watch what God does for you. The real problem here is impatience. We want to be spiritually mature instaneously instead of waiting for spiritual growth to take place in God's time.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Prayer and study. Study your Faith!

I once heard that you talk to God by praying, and He talks to you when you do spiritual reading.

Don't give up on prayer and surely God will take you to Heaven someday!

The Book of James is a good one. Very practical.

May He bless you immensely!!!
