then focus on your relationship with him and tell your friends if they can't at least treat him well and with respect then you'll have to break off your friendships with them. think how he must feel being around those jerks. they are not worth it.

ouch!! the thing is that your friends are not dating him you are. And if he makes you happy the hell with what they think, and besides if they were really your friends they would respect you and keep their comments to themselves. And if you like him as much as you say you do you would not allow them to talk about him in a bad way. If your still in high school or lower the friends you have now are more than lkely not going to be around that much after high school because of college anyway so who cares what they think.

Your friends are not real friends, because if they were the only thing that would matter to them is that you are happy. Friends are supposed to be there for each other, maybe you should tell them to cool it because you love him and that is all that matters.

ditch the friends, they don't seem real and seem like the kind of "friends" that talk badly about you behind your back......
If you love him, and they don't like him, simply tell them straight up, if they continue to dog on him, THEY will be forcing you to chose between them and him, and if THEY force you to chose, you will chose the opposite of what they want!
If they are truely your friends, they will cut it out, if not, you will be better off without them!

Stay w/ him, if your friends can't stand him then that's there problem. Maybe there jealous?? Anyways they are gonna have to get tired of complaining about him so stick w/ him.

dont worry about if your friends like him or not...if you like him that is all it should matter.why dont they like him and why do they make fun of him? dont pay attention and follow your heart...i followed mine and even though my friends didnt like him i didnt care....and look at me now ..i have been with him for 5 years and marry to him for 2...and i am only 20...follow your heart!!!
