If God created the universe, then created man, how did man report the creation of the universe? No man was there to witness it. If you believe God informed man of the creation of the universe and of man, what would be the purpose, bragging rights? If he reported that to us, why does he not report himself to us now? Would it not be just as simple?

As a few side questions, why would God create man "in the image of himself" if He has no true form? Also, would he really want to associate His likeness with something as ignorant as man?

Perhaps it's an odd sense of humour to tell people the "truth" to have them share the knowledge and be executed. For an "all-knowing" being, that doesn't seem very generous.

"God works in mysterious ways" is not a valid answer because it explains nothing, nor does "just have faith."

"Who are you to question God?" is an incredibly ignorant question even for a Christian. If you are a Christian, you would believe He made me who I am, which also means my questioning nature. That being said, who is He to create me as someone to question Him and judge me for doing as I was created to do?

There is a conflict in this reasoning as well: "God has a plan for everyone," yet, supposedly, He gave us free will to choose for ourselves. How can we choose if He decides for us?

Nonetheless...you will get lots of "just read your bible" "who are you to question god's plan" "we are made in his 'spiritual' image, not physical" and other non-answers. etc.

Believers feel uncomfortable when they are forced to face the obvious incongruities, contradictions, and out right absurdities in the bible. The only defense mechanism they have is to ignore them, pretend they don't exist, and to fall back on cliched knee jerk non-answers.(trust in god, free will, god's plan...yada yada yada)

because because some thing is allegorical or metaphorical does no longer advise that's mythological. there's a good factor of distinction between those 2 issues. frequently Myths have a "undying" element of them. we do not recognize even as they exceeded off...that's always in a by using lengthy previous era. maximum of what's listed in the bible has truly certain dates connected to it. scholars would argue about 3500BC or 3200BC..notwithstanding that's a ways more suitable precise then lots of the memories from Greek Mythology. also a Metaphor isn't an same as delusion. A metaphor skill you're equating 2 issues as form of an same. maximum in all probability what you meant grow to be both allegorically or figuratively. Many have reported that Adam and Eve are allegories for the unique team of people. this does no longer cause them to mythological. they are purely stand ins for the genuine team of people. yet, in the top, we are able to quibble over definitions and categories. the #a million reason that bible questions about the non-literal parts of the bible are revealed in the R&S section is because they are the inspiration for a faith, more suitable so than a delusion. that's likewise the position the folk maximum qualified (in case you even dare to call it that) to respond to the question take position to BE. So it has a minimum of as a lot to do with the target audience because the concern. God Bless

When you buy an ipod, the manual comes with it, when God creates He leaves a manual, scriptures. At the beginning that knowledge is giving by oral reception from God to the first created being, that in turn he imparted to others qualified beings, in that way is coming down till now and put into written.
The purpose of this creation is to give a chance of the living entities to fulfill their material desires to try to enjoy independent form God, when they become frustrated knowing there is no happiness here but suffering, they come to the senses and come back home back to God.
We have become so degraded and sinful, that keep God very far away from us, but if you purify yourself by a process of purification, you will be able to see God.
Only in the human form of life we can ask who am i and who is God, and you can not know God without His mercy and His mercy can be attain only by serve Him.

Your father may have a plan for you, knowing what is the best for you, but you have your desires independent from him.

You have form because your father has form. God is no formless, He is a person, the Supreme person, and we are His sons. People Deny His personality because they bring their material conception of person to Him, but His body is completely spiritual, no bones, no veins, and He is the most beautiful, never old, eternally fresh in youth.

Number one. Moses wrote the five first books of the bible. And i'm sure you would have heard stories that Moses talk to God on the mountain and so on..well He told Moses and Moses wrote it down. God does not show himself because he wants you to believe. I mean you can't see air but you know it's there..it's the same with God he's always there but you just can't see him doesn't mean he doesn't exsist. And if God did show himself to us there would be no need for "faith" And God loves man no matter how ignorant how man is, God loves everyone. I hope I've helped and God bless..x

God revealed Genesis to Moses, who wrote it down. Moses, who had been educated as a pagan and was not raised among his own people, was able to record an exact history of creation and the Flood, as well as an extensive genealogical record. It was obviously divinely inspired. God reported this to Man so that he would know the Truth and not fall prey to silly teachings like evilution.

The Lord spake freely with Adam until the first parents were expelled from the Garden of Eden. God spoke to all His prophets and continues to do so today. That is the source of scripture.

first who are you to question God. The only thing I agree with you on is nothing about God is mysterious, people state this when they fail to understand his word.
