Some great answers here, folks.

"Beatles Dead, Jesus still alive" - yeah, ok.

"Beatles were Satan Worshippers" - lol...have you listened to their music?

"Destiny's Child Bigger than the beatles...."- Oh, sh*t, I'm still laughing at that one. Well see about that in 20 years, ok?

Oh, and the band broke up about 4 years after that comment.

They're real. I can't believe you're comparing The Beatles with imagination.

I wonder what John was trying to say about religion?

"Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one " - John Lennon

Yeah, I guess peace is overrated now a days. And the notions left behind just aren't real great argument NOT!

Well, two of them are dead. But then Jesus didn't have the advantage of Apple Studios.

I think the Beatles did their part to spread part of Jesus' message, actually.

I lived through the 60s and 70s, performing several of the Beatles' tunes.

I think that the "message" of the Beatles was basically positive.

NO to both questions but funny how people took offense when Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child said they were bigger and better than the Beatles and Beatle's septuagenarian fans considered that blasphemy.

What do you mean STILL? They have never been, remember all the fans they lost and the Beadle bonfire. No one is better than Jesus. Anyone that would make a comment like they did back then, probably look like crispy critters now, in hell.

isn't it ironic that jesus gave his life for us and was pushed aside for a pop group!!!!??? i bet 90% people here know words to most of the beatles songs, but can't recite a whole verse from the scriptures!!! shame!!!

The Beattles are dead. Jesus is Alive. -- They were never bigger or better, or even good IMO. They were a sad little group that promoted satanic religions. Check the cover of their Sgt. Pepper albumn. There are some pretty bad people on there.

They always were, they always will be.

Lennon was much closer to divinity as an atheist than any Christian that has ever walked this planet.
