The Bible states in no uncertain terms, there is NOTHING you can do to make God love you any less. And there is nothing you can do to make Him reject you - it is man who rejects Him. If you live your whole life without turning to Him and just want to go your own way and be left alone, ultimately at the end of your life He will. But until then, He tries over and over to get you to trust Him.

And it doesn't matter what sin you've committed, "ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." If the most minute sin is present in a person, they have fallen utterly short of God's standard. Which means all of us, everyone who ever lived. That's the whole purpose of Christ's taking the fall for us, and if it wasn't enough to wash away every and any sin, as the Bible says, what good was it?

You could have been a serial murderer for all God cares, at least concerning the offer of salvation. Whatever evil we did, just shows more clearly why we need Christ.

Get in touch the pastor of a Bible-believing church, or someone else who knows the Bible well, and have them walk you through God's word concerning sin and forgiveness. Even if you're past the dark times you describe, you need to be able to know that you're forgiven and have confidence you are still loved and one of His - assuming you have already trusted Him. If you haven't, there's no better time than now.

Of course!...
I'm a panthiest. that means I believe that God is the consciousness and energy which pervades the universe, and that everything and everyone is manifestations of this conscousness and energy. So God by definition loves you otherwise you would not exist.
I do not believe in a god that sits just outside the universe, creating, managing, judging, answering prayers, deciding whether or not to love and accept us. Such beliefs lead to many contradictions and religious wars.
I've known people who cut, generally they have a lot of self hatred and frustration. So someone who does this may feel that God does not love or accept them because they do not love or accept themselves. As a panthiest I've got to say, they're right, from their own limited perspective. But we all emerge from these dark times just like a seedling emerges from between the cracks of the sidewalk to somehow find the light and life which is its own essence.
There's a lot more to you than being a cutter or a former cutter. Hope you find it.

Jesus does love you. And he wants to take away your pain and give you the peace you so desperately crave. All you have to do is ask him to come into your heart and be the lord of your life. Read John 3:16 Get yourself into a good bible based church. Get to know people. Seek out people who have what you want. And just let Christ change your mourning into Joy.
If you do this, I bet you will never go back to cutting. And as time goes by and you grow in Christ there will be someone you will be able to help change their darkest days. God bless you and keep you. Peace

I think you have done the right thing and admitted to yourself that you had a problem in your past and that is where it should stay, in the past.
You are a young person and you have a lot of life in front of you, treat other people with respect and you will have respect returned.
I am not religious and have a problem in "believing" but i like to think that i have the respect of the people i meet, which is not a bad thing.
Live your life the way you want, respect others and i am sure you will be accepted, your god teaches love, i am sure you will not have a problem.

Yes. I was once a cutter too, and after I became a Catholic, I stopped. I was so scared that I'd be looked down on for what I had once done (and still desired to do), but a priest told me, "You are still God's child and he loves you and doesn't want you hurt yourself." I felt those words were true, so every time I want to cut, I think back on them. God loves you, no matter what.

No idea what a cutter is but yes if you truly asked him for forgiveness he will accept you and forgive you because he will also love you. If your son or daughter stole a book from the store, would you stop loving them? No Just as the Lord still loves you.

of course He will. None of us has ever been perfect. In James 2:10 the Bible says that "whosover shall keep the whole law and yet offend in ONE place - shall be guilty of all."
so in essence what this means is that the person who steals a pizza isn't any better or worse than you and vice versa. Also in Ephesians 1:7 we find that we have forgiveness of sins.
In 1st John 1:9 we find that Jesus forgives those who confess their sins, which you have just done. (ignore GotSnow12 and others that tell you God hates you - it's not so!)

Did you cut yourself?

Of course God still loves you. You need to accept Gods Redeeming Grace.

I know that when I was hurt / devalued by my husband and had visions of cutting my wrists, there was vision of clashing swords and I grieved the Holy Spirit. Self mutilation is evil. As a born again Christian growing in faith at the time, I realized that it didn't matter so much what my husband thought or condemn, what mattered is that I trust God (Gods love for me) in that God promised to never leave or forsake me. Even this thought of cutting grieves the Holy Spirit and should be repented of if one doubted when one was a Christian.

If you aren't a Christian yet, then all you need to do is repent to God for not believing in Jesus Christ and Gods redeeming Grace. Confess Jesus Christ Lord and believe in your heart the atonement for sins (His redeeming blood covers all your sins.) and resurrection and you will be saved. Heart faith is sooo important because God looks at your heart.

Also, meditate on these verses found in http://www.fathersloveletter.com Believe them because they are true.

You cannot change the past, you can only go forward. Understanding this, use the moment you are currently in with your intent directed towards your new beliefs and you will take advantage of the potential currently available to you instead of lamenting about past poor choices, which only wastes time, effort, and energy. Good luck, and keep that smile genuine :)

God loves all people. Your specific issues are not relevant. The only thing that matters is that you give your life to Him today and every day forward. To strive to know Him more and more each day and follow Him obediently. He offers forgiveness to the repentant heart and wipes your sins away and remembers them no more.
