how about Baxter. You really need to see the dog in order to come up with a name, some dogs are just screaming that they are "Sam", or Ollie, so check out your pup and see who he looks like. I bred labs for several years and once had a beautiful litter of mostly chocolates, candy bar names started flying like crazy!

I am partial to Belle, Jack, and Tank.
Whatever you choose, go stand outside and yell out the name a few times and think about how you sound. My sister let her kids name their new lab Red Rainbow, and my bro-in-law looks like an idiot when he takes the dog out hunting because it only responds to Rainbow.
