NO!

There is never a good reason to lie cause you'll just have to tell another lie to get out of the first lie.

Of course. There are many valid reason why someone may have to lie sometimes. The problem is if it becomes "a way of life". I usually tell the truth but what am I suppose to do if someone I care about could wind up suffering badly because I chose not to tell a harmless lie?

depends on the context. here's a good way to figure out if it's morally correct or not to lie: which would cause more suffering? the truth? or the lie?

I think what you meant was "Is it good to lie at times?"
No unless its an emergency or your life depends on it.
Don't you know that poem.
"OH what a tangled web we weave
When we practice to deceive"

Always tell the truth and make this your motto :
"To thine oneself be true, thou canst be false to any man"
