well i love you anyway ... no matter what you are
but i think agnostics have the right idea .... wait for the evidence
i am kind of agnostic even in my own beliefs ... i will happily admit , no i dont know God , i dont know what God is ... i only know what i believe God to be
i question everything about my beliefs and only when i have found enough evidence of things will i accept them into my belief system..
and if i find things in other faiths that make sense for me, then i will adopt them also...
people will hate you ... some people hate anything that doesnt make sense for them
but you be happy and secure with yourself and know that things have to make sense for you and you only xx

I don't have a problem with them. I've been "lost" before with my belief in a God because I felt that He never even listened to my prayers. I wondered why God would let bad things happen to good people, or why he wouldn't help those in serious need at their darkest of times..

I was camping in Utah about a two years ago and I was at my worst when it came to 'faith' --- I had none. I was just finishing up a statement that I wasn't sure if God even listened or cared enough about me to hear me or help me.. And two seconds after I said that a huge ball of light came out of the sky and flew across the horizon. The feeling that came over me was so intense that I started crying because I knew in my heart that there WAS a God. I know that was His way of reassuring me to not give up.. *And many will try to argue that I saw an airplane or a shooting star --- but I know the difference between an airplane, a star, and this.

Some people aren't as fortunate to actually see a sign, but if you try to continue to stay strong in your belief you'll eventually feel His presence.

I have nothing against agnostics, I have many friends who are agnostics.

The only question I have for agnostics though, is that I don't understand why they are so concerned with asking questions that they never search for answers?

Agnostics do take a good philosophy of questioning everything, and not taking anything assumed. That was Rene' Decartes' thinking too, a very brilliant mind.

I like agnostics. Agnosticism is a rational response to a lack of evidence.

They baffle me, it's not a matter of like or dislike. Why not save yourself I ask. I can't figure-out why a person wouldn't want to save themselves from death. Even if they thought there was no proof in Jesus. Why not believe just in case? There's so much proof or reason to believe.

I don't "hate" or dislike anybody... nobody is inherently anything therefore nobody should be hated or disliked for any label given them by others, nor should anyone be hated due to perceptions or beliefs. Nobody should even hate themselves for the same reasons. *shrug* Just a thought.

I feel about you the way you feel about god. "eh". ;-)

Seriously, I have no problem with agnostics at all. My boyfriend is an agnostic. You have every right to believe what you believe and not believe what you don't want to believe.

Their beliefs are just as valid as anyone else's.

The main difference between atheism and agnosticism is that the former is about belief; the latter is about knowledge.

My husband is agnostic. I'm fine with whatever anyone believes, as long as they don't assume they are right, and I am wrong.

let me add "or vica versa" Because apparently It does sound like I am claiming to be right. IE my husband doesnt tell me "You know there's no way to be sure, your belief in Jesus is wrong." and I don't tell him that "Jesus is the only way to salvation"

I'm kind of like them, actually. I can't seem to decide. No, actually they don't bother me at all. Overall, they seem less judgmental then others.
