I was rear-ended and the insurance adjuster of the guy that hit me recorded my statement(with my permission). Does he have to give me a copy by law? If not, what to do?

He doesn't have to give you a copy, but you can request a copy and most companies will comply. He may be able to email it to you as a .wav file or he may have to transcribe it (which usually takes 3-4 weeks).

If you litigate, he probably has to turn it over. CAn't hurt to ask in the meantime.
