I've heard it said that a brunette with blue eyes is more unusual and so more striking (which usually makes for more attractive) but I think it has to be a darkish brown.
The fact that so many people colour their hair is making blonde really common these days!
I have very light brown hair (it looks blonde in some lights and I was light blonde as a child) but I know that when I dyed it a medium-dark brown it really made my eyes stand out.
In truth though it also depends on your skin tone and other factors as well as the look you want. Blonde is youthfull and Brunette is classy and mysterious ;-)

Without a doubt brunette!! The reasoning behind this, is that darker hair will make the lighter eyes pop, especially blue eyes. When you have blond hair, it washes out the brightness in your eyes.

I think that brunette hair would look better because the hair is much darker, and when it's darker it makes the eyes look lighter and they stand out a great deal more. Look at Elijah Woods, the actor. He has dark hair, but he has the prettiest big blue eyes, and the reason they look so nice on him is because his hair is dark.

brunette because if your a blonde you look like a barbie plus brunette and blue eyes are less common

i would go with blonde because i have blonde hair and blue eyes and guys love the 2 together

Definitely brunette. It makes your eyes stand out brilliantly. For example, Courtney Cox-Arquette, Elijah Wood and Liv Tyler. So unique and rare.
Furthermore, blue eyed blonde is so common, right?

Light hair and light eyes go together naturally. Dark hair and dark eyes go together natually. That is why contrast is so striking. Black hair with blue eyes, Brown hair with green eyes, blonde hair with brown eyes, white hair with dark eyes. All good combos. I myself was born with white blonde hair and light blue eyes. Nice but plain. My hair darkened to blonde and my eyes took on orange flecks during puberty.
Now, years later, my eyes change from blue to grey to green, depending on the season. It's kind of cool.
I personally would have like to been born with dark curly hair and large brown eyes but, northern European lineage says NOT!

It depends on the shade of blue and the shades of blonde or brunette. It also depends on the face itself. Some people have gorgeous eyes, but they get lost in ugliness around it.

blue eyes cuz brunette hair makes blue eyes pop so its the first thing someone notices.
