I was talking about marriage and she said when you graduate and settle into your job you can ask me and i will say yes. Then i said everyone keeps saying i am waiting too long and 6 years together is way too long with out a proposal. She replied," it is i gave up on you after the summer", so i asked, "so i lost my chance?" She said, "no but i did give up you were suppose to ask a long time ago."
The reason i waited is because i was very busy in college as i played division 1 soccer and my team went to the NCAA tournament and we were very competitive and it was seriously time consuming, so i couldn't start working and i didn't have enough money for a ring. I also figured it would be best to wait until i graduate. Now she acts like a bitc* to me and treats me like crap. Did i lose my chance??? If i did i will be heart broken as we've been together 6 years and i know shes the one.

well she doesn't treat me like crap. Everything is still the same between us except she hang out with her friends now and before she would wait at home for me all the time.

and Patrick k i don't play soccer that way lol. I played pro in England for a reserve premiership team but i came home for this girl. Then i turned down scholarships to bigger schools so i can be close to home to be near her. I also had offers from stockbroking firms that i turned down because she want me to work 9-5 so i can have time for her. I do a lot for her.

yep, the b and c word are deterrants. But, there's always more "the ones" out there. She doesn't seem bothered at all, seems her interest declined. Don't push. Look elsewhere, ask again later and if you get the same answer, then walk away from her and find someone better. If you will be heartbroken, it sure won't be for long cause this seems like a one-sided thing you have going there. It's not fun trying to talk someone into liking or loving another person. It's a no-go.

If she is treating you bad put the law down. Tell her how it will be you are the man in the relationship. If she still treats you like crap after that dump her. If she straightens up keep her. Simple as that. Especially if she said she gave up on you. Don't marry someone just to be married marry someone for love. Also make sure you have all your stuff together and y'all agree to basic principles in all areas especially finance. Congrats on getting to NCAA Tourney

if she really and truly loves you... you will have never lost your chance! no matter how long you wait (for whatever reason) it shouldnt make much of a difference! she should understand that you werent ready at the time and you had alot of things going on! its not like you were purposely lying to her! you wanted to get married it just wasnt the right time, but now it is. u should try sitting her down and explaining that to her in the nicest way possible. that way it comes out as a win/win situation!

be blunt come out and ask her why shes acting the way she is . just explain you love her and want to the rest of youre life with her but u wanted to finish some things first and wanted to ask her right with a ring but didnt have the money if it works just say i dont have a ring but i will get down on one knee and say i would be honored if youd be my wife forever will you marry me?

Sound like she moved on, at least emotionally. People grow and change, not always for the better.You needed to live you re life so you could give her a good life with her. Sounds good to me. As long as you were kind to her and you explained why to her.

feels like she's attempting to assert you do not have as plenty adventure (sexual or in any different case) as she does. She want's a undesirable boy - and he or she see's you as a sturdy guy. She in all danger likes risky adult males/circumstances. Get somebody who's advantageous - enable the different female run with the thugs...
