At each end there is a plastic square. There is 4 long plastic bars connecting them. And in the middle there is one big string which looks like they are twisted into two cones connected in the middle. Do you have any clue on what this is?!?!

looks like a sand-clock with string instead of sand.
or if the string is outside, it's a fishing reel.
