No. And, I see nothing wrong with it either ! I have seen some who would benefit from an old fashioned WHUPPING.

Turn to Matthew 5, where you will find the answer. Jesus said: You have heard that it was said You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you that you may be sons of your father in heaven; he He makes His sun rise on the evil ande on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."
Did Jesus die for the good? No. He died for us sinners, the enemies of God. Would you die for your enemy? Isn't it harder to treat your enemy as a friend and be kind to him rather than bringing punishment on him? I think so.

He makes no specific mention. But He does tell us to love: and corporal punishment is hardly loving when there are adequate alternatives.
He does not tell us to avoid driving on the wrong side of the road, either, but you can draw the inference from His teachings.

Hello,
No, I don't believe Jesus say Corporal punishment is wrong, if you think about it Jesus die the death of a criminal. Crucifixions was capital punishment in those days. I believe he would want us to obey the laws of the land and not be subjective to having to be punished by capital punishment. good luck

Jesus (who incidentally was voted the most inspirational and greatest man of all time) says that you should go back to school and learn to read and write English.

Doesn't the Bible say an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth? That makes good sense to me.

No, but when the religious ppl wanted to stone an adulterous woman he said "let the one who is without sin cast the first stone" and then as they slunk away he told the woman "Go, and leave your life of sin".
None of us are without sin, so it would be hypocritical to kill people for their sins. Whatever happened to forgiveness?
