Yes... it's "just" a theory. I always thought the inclusion of "just" was clever... meant to imply the minimal significance of the thing which it proceeds. Yes... it's "just" a theory. And evolution, like gravity, is "just" a naturally occurring process which is testable, predictive and demonstrably true.

I agree It's never been proven, and it's not even mentioned in the bible. So it can't be real.
"First of all, no one has measured gravity for every atom and every star. It is simply a religious belief that it is “universal.” Secondly, school textbooks routinely make false statements. For example, “the moon goes around the earth.” If the theory of gravity were true, it would show that the sun's gravitational force on the moon is much stronger than the earth's gravitational force on the moon, so the moon would go around the sun. Anybody can look up at night and see the obvious gaps in gravity theory."
Pfft... Silly Gravitationalists.

Why don't you put it in to a test... go on top of a high rising building and jump off... then you will figure out if gravity is a theory or not...You may be a hero who prooves us that gravity was just a theory... as you call it a scientific guess...

A theory is the best possible answer that can be supported by evidence (observational, mathematical, etc.) but not necessarilly proven absolutely given the current level of knowledge.
These "so-called scientists" are the ones asking, postulating and investigating instead of making up pat, easy-to-digest phony answers.

lol. Yes, its a theory. I guess that must mean we're all going to go floating off into space then.
Christians don't get it. They simply can't understand that a scientific theory isn't the same thing as a regular persons idea of theory.

its true gravity is a theory. the reason you don't float away is because the earth sucks

Jump off a building.
Then see how a "theory " works.

Yes. I bring that up whenever someone tells me that evolution and global warming are just "theories."
