there is a loud sound coming from my tower why is it so loud?

I never hear it before please help.

Pam,
i got your question about your tower.
the sound might be a web site that one of you guys went to and didn't close out of it correctly.
restart your computer and see if that helps.

If it sounds like it's revving up like a car , it's ready to die. It happened to my computer.
