You will want to exercise 30 minutes a day at least 4 days a week. Cardio exercises like walking or running are good but weight training is also very effective for weight loss.
But exercise alone will NOT have much of an effect. You MUST diet as well.
If you don't want to do a specific diet then consider portion control. Eat normal on the healthy side as much as possible but don't eat a meal larger than the size of your closed fist.
If you go out to dinner, to help yourself, as soon as the food comes request a to go box. Portion off half of the food to take home and then eat your meal.
Eat more than three times a day. Five or Six times is good.
Breakfast
Lunch
Mid afternoon snack
Dinner
Evening snack
Snacks need to be small and include things like fruit or nuts. Rice cakes are cool too. The way this was explained to me was to think of the difference between a Race car and a regular car. The regular car you put a ton of fuel in at one time and just go until it's low. But when you are trying to lose weight, your body needs to act more efficently like a Race car where they only put in it what it needs to get through the next few laps as fast as it can and then refuel again.
And here is the hard one. Drink 8, 8oz glasses of water a day.
This does multiple things.
1. Fills you up so the smaller meals are more satisfying but don't leave you hungry.
2. If you don't drink that much water your body reacts and retains water, which adds weight. When you start drinking more water your body reacts again and does not retain the water anymore. Less retained water less weight.
3. It also has other health benifits but I don't remember the specifics at the moment.
Best of Luck

First off, Calories are irrelevant. Make sure you have a daily exercise program. Preferably in the morning is best. Then cut back on your "sodium" intake. Make sure you eat 3 times the amount of vegetables to your meat consumption and stay away from carbohydrates after lunch time. And read the following....
Take a "whole-food" Multi- Vitamin. It does depend on what type of multi-vitamin you are taking. The human body reacts differently to synthetic vitamins and "whole food" vitamins.
There are many vitamins on the market and only a few of them can actually provide you with the necessary nutrients.
What people do not understand is that synthetic nutrients are not absorbed into the body the same as organic nutrients. Many of the synthetics are flushed through our systems while the organics are absorbed more fully.
After you have obtained a "whole food” vitamin purchase an organic potassium asporotate in a capsule form. Many of our health issues and weight gain is realized by low potassium consumption. You can never have enough potassium.
Typically our diets are very "sodium" based so we need to consume 3 times the amount of sodium in potassium in order for our body to flush out the effects of the sodium.
Now that is the basic….
Before I could recommend any other supplements I would need to know if you are currently taking ANY medication, what your typical diet is and then I would suggest a blood test to see what your levels are.
For your info....
The two best whole food Multi-vitamins on the market is "More than a Multiple" by American health or a hypo-allergenic one for people with allergies they should use the "Life Essence master multiple" by Pure Essence Labs. Both are organic and can be found on the web. For potassium stick to a potassium asporotate like Solaray's Potassium Asporotate.
I use the "More than a Multiple" and I take Potassium Asporotate by Solaray. I take about 600mg per day and more of the potassium if I eat junk food like Pizza, Hamburgers, etc.
By the way, NO vitamin can be taken just once a day and be beneficial. A "minimum" of twice a day is always best
I've listed some websites that have great prices for all.

Just altering your weight loss plan isn't going to provide you with that so much of a change. You rather must pastime. For the milk, these cartons aren't enormous adequate to make a change of which one you decide on. And the picture is simply too small for me to learn, however ordinarily attempt to decide on the tuition foods that appear like they failed to come from a packaged field..... So no mac and cheese if that's an alternative. I would ask your mum and dad if they can do extra lunches from home in view that then that you would be able to make a healthful sandwich and take fruit... I don't suppose that the tuition lunches can quite even be considered safe to eat

I don't think you can loose that much in month the healthy way. And if you do you are going to bounce back. What is the total amount you want to loose??? I suggest making small goals per month... If you are too fat, start dieting and walk a little bit, and let your doctor in your plan....If you are not too fat and you have some execise experience, go ahead and start dieting and go to the gym and start doing weights 3 days a week...nothing too hard but enough to build some muscle.
If you have more muscle, your metabolisim is faster you nurn more calories because you have to mantain that new muscle...that's 50 calories for every extra pound of muscle...read the abs diet plan and talk to a doctor befor you decide to do any of our responses.

Sorry, can't. Losing 20 pounds in a single month, no matter what method you use to get there, simply isn't healthy. 10 pounds in a month might be a better goal.
Drink lots of water; this will fill you up so you don't eat as much, and it's great for your skin and immune system besides. Exercise every day, give up drinking soda (empty calories), drink skim or 1% milk instead of higher fat content kinds. Eat lots of vegetables and whole grains- they have a lot of fiber in them, which is filling without being full of calories.
Good luck!

Depending on your metabolism, you could lose 20 lbs, but everybody is different.
To focus on a healthy diet, consider a well balanced moderated diet that consists of lean portien, lean fat, digestiable carbs, water, and LOTS of fruits and vegetables.
Also, join your local gym and work out!
Best of luck on your pursuit of weight loss in 2007!

it depends on your size if you are overwieght you will lose it by
exercise and good eating habit.but if you are at a good wieght and
want to lose 20lb it is not going to happen you need body fat. the body can only do so much for you. so remember 1 hour of exercise and a lot of water and greens, and also limit your red meat.if you are one of those people that wiegh about 125lb really
