i would start out by touching the hand or arm. then the kiss on the cheek. if i detect "pull away" i would slow down or move on. if there was no "pull away" then it's time for a kiss on the lips. while over the years i have met some women that like the cave man approach, i have found that most like the slow approach, it gives them time to think and decide, and it also relaxes them.

A kiss on the cheek is used when you sorta know someone. It's also done normally when a young man kisses their mom. They are kissed on the cheek. It's very propper and more polite. Not assuming to take advantage of someone.
A kiss on the lips is reserved a romantic interest or someone you know really really well.

Several things.....1) He likes you as a friend, nothing more. 2) He respects you and doesn't want to move to fast. 3) Just being nice. Best thing to do is ask him if you really want to know. As far as him kissing your mom, that's just being nice.

A kiss at the cheek means that he is afraid to kiss you at lips because he does not want you to think that he is running too fast without your encouragement. If you want sth more tell him or kiss him first!!

coming from me...I would say that it would be the start of a relationship, and I would want to show that I am not in a hurry or want to be perceived as an overbearing person....Now if it was a cheeck kiss to one of my family members, I would want it to be perceived as I care and love you...........
