Could be an adverse reaction, allergic reaction or an irritation to a host of several things: medication, detergent, fabric softener, foods, pets or animal, bedding or laundry either not rinsed thoroughly, too much detergent, unsanitary conditions.

I would recommend speaking with your healthcare professional. There's not enough info provided to know what else could be going on here.

If they are scabby looking it could be psoriasis. Also, once in 4th grade I got a rash called 5ths disease or something and it was supposed to go away in like 3 days. You might want to look into that cause I have no idea what it is exactly. Did you take any medications? It could be an allergic reaction. Did you change detergent? It could be from that.

the ignorant answers on here astound me,especially the person who said u have aids.its not that.it isnt acne, either.its keratosis, improper draining of the pores on the back of the upper arms.its extremely common, especially in women and especially in winter, when hot sweaters, sweatshirts and coats occlude the pores.rub upper arms gently with a loofah sponge in the bathtub or shower, then apply any body cream containing "urea",which helps to breakdown and drain what is essencially a build up of collagen and keratin.a tendancy toward these bumps is inherited.wear looser sleeves so pores can "breathe",and keep up the loofah and urea cream(read labels or ask pharmacist for name of cream) and soon u will notice dramatic improvement.

Its probably acne. Yep. It strikes there too. Keeping the area extra clean and any acne medication shuld help. If not, ask your doctor for acne medication. Best of luck!
