Belts and scarves tend to work just fine.
I've more experience on the being tied up end, rather than tying someone else but both can be fun. Enjoy!

try a bandana or a scarf, soft things are best cause it's comfy enough so they aren't in pain. a four post bed is the best, and most men do love it cause they pressure isn't on them to perform, they get to lay, sit, whatever back and enjoy!
don't forget the blindfold!
