It is a lot, you can do the greyhound bus e-ticket for $35 round trip (it takes less than 4 hours)

On Amtrak it can take from 2:50 to 4 hours, depening on what service the train is. it can cost between $62 and $250, again depending on what service you choose.
The Bus is cheeper, and the plane take takes to long getting to and from the airport and through secutity.

If you take the Metroliner it takes about 2 hrs and 55 minutes. If you take the regular Amtrak train, it's about 4 hrs.
