Assuming the baby would be born out of some kind of man vagina and not have to be surgically removed from the male mother then probably more babies would be born.
As men have far less nerves in their bodies and as such despite what people sometimes claim do actually have a much higher pain threshold. That is to say that women feel physical pain far more strongly than men because women have more nerve cells in their bodies than men do. So men may actually give birth to more babies than women (assuming they could do so) because it would be a less painful experience for them.

YOUR JOKING RIGHT???? Men can't handle the pain of an ingrown toenail -- let alone the pain of labor!! Plus pushing something the size of a bowling ball out from their body! No the poulation would be much lower if men were the one's who gave birth! Which might not be bad thing- probably alot less homeless people etc...

I don't like the idea of men giving birth... just try to imagine what pub conversations would be like. I soon get fed up with football but if they were to stand there comparing how many stiches they had and how far apart they were, I would swear off beer for life

There would be at least one per household, (Got to keep up with Bubba). There would be alot of boasting between the guys over a few beers afterward (forget the midol...post op Bud Light) All children would def. be bottle fed...because even if the men could do it...we could forget that...They just could not bear to talk about soreness there at the bar. They would insit on naming the children more..so get ready for Bubba, Earl, Darryl and the other cousin Darryl.....

They'd also invent a 100% effective contraceptive!
They would manufacture a pram which DIDN't have one wonky wheel and they'd make sure that all pavements would be flat with no potholes!
As Mr. GorgeousFluffpot takes to his sickbed when he only has a runny nose, I couldn't contemplate the trauma and racket and fuss that he would make if he had to give birth to a baby through his little fluffy botty ...... !

If men were to give birth, where would the babies come from? Isn't that the right question? lol But no to answer your question, i don't think that men can handle as much pain as women. Especially with delivery... we women can dream, can we?

whatever way you would want to spin it... the fact of the matter is they would be having more babies...guys love sex regardless of outcome. oh get real it takes 2 and its both sides fault in having babies..

Would the abortion rate grow?
Would birth control become significantly more important?
COME ON! you think people will stop lovin sex?

Women would be more likely to have sex, becuase the burden is no longer completely theirs.. so in one hand things would change but realize.. women would probably be more likely to do things becuase well.. shes not the only one who WILL have to deal with a baby.

If men could do that they would be the women of society...allowing women to take the rolls of aggressive men. So hell yeah the birth rates would be the same.
