Hinduism has over 36 million gods, the most important ones are Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. Incarnations or forms of Vishnu like Krishna, Rama, the Buddha are also worshipped. Goddesses like Kali and Durga are worshipped as symbols of cosmic female energy. Inspite of all these gods, Hinduism really belives in only One God, all these many gods and goddesess are just forms of that One.

There's nothing like a famous Hindu God, you can choose whichever God you want (in Hinduism) according to what you want most, coz each God signifies various levels of the state of mind of an individual.

Hinduism believes that the god is everywhere. For instance, air, water, sky, earth, medicine, education, animals, trees, food, knowledge, weapons, metals, furniture anything you name it and you will find a equivalent god in Hindu scriptures. Hinduism is more than a religion, it is a way of life. The core concept being; karma (your actions).
