What kind of person would you choose as a friend? Very likely you would want the company of someone who shares your views, interests, and values. And you would be drawn to one who has fine qualities, such as honesty and kindness.

Throughout history, God has chosen certain humans to be his friends. For example, Jehovah called Abraham his friend. (Isaiah 41:8; James 2:23.)

So Jehovah draws close to those who humbly do what he asks of them. “Obey my voice,” he told the Israelites, “and I will become your God, and you yourselves will become my people.” (Jeremiah 7:23.) If you obey Jehovah, you too can become his friend! Think about what friendship with God means. So if you serve Jehovah with a complete heart, you can be as confident as the psalmist who said: “I have placed Jehovah in front of me constantly. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be made to totter.” (Psalm 16:8; 63:8.)

God never disappoints his loyal friends. (Psalm 18:25 - Being a friend of God is better than having riches.

God also has friends on the earth. He calls them his witnesses. A witness in court tells what he knows about someone or something. Jehovah’s Witnesses tell others what they know about Jehovah and his purpose. (Isaiah 43:10) The Witnesses want to help you learn the truth about Jehovah.

1 John 2:15-17
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

john 15:1-17 tells about remaning in Jesus.if we obey his command to love our neighbours we will be fruitful.
Mark 10:17 refers to a rich man who wants to inherit the kingdom of God but he could not get loose of all his possessions.he loves his wealth more than Jesus.
1 John 2:15 it refers the desires of the world
also in 1 Tim.6:6-11
satan attacks the individual christian mostly through temptation.and focuses his assault in two spheres:
1.the desires of the world-he will seek to tempt a believer to become absorbed into the world system:-to make the material blessings that the world offers a central desire;-to make the honor and recognition of this world an important goal and to make the comfort of being one with those of this world our basis of security.2. the desires of the flesh: -through Christ work on the cross, the true christian is delivered from the results of sin,and from the power of sin(Rom.6:6-14)but he still lives in physical body that is subject to natural appetites and desires.satan will use these to try and get a christian to place greater importance upon them than upon the promptings of the Holy Sporit within him(Rom.8:5-9;James 1:14;Eph.2:3)
it was in the areas of the world and the flesh that satan won his original victory in the temptation of adam and eve,and these are still his tactics today....for all that is the world, the lust of the flesh(craving for sensual gratification),lust of the eyes(greedy longing of the mind)and the pride of life(assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of earthly things....God bless!

"Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God" (James 4:4)

Your best bet is to go to BibleGateway.com and use their phrase search..."friendship with the world" is a long shot since "we are not of this world" but "friendship with God" you may get...actually you may do better to just search using "friendship.
