They are called miracles and they happen every day. Maybe not in as big a way like the flood or parting of the red sea, but they do happen. You just need to ask God to open your eyes and see and believe!

God bless.

There are over 270 accounts worldwide of the flood of Noah's day. Many of which refer to eight survivors, etc. As for the Genesis account, why do so many people try to disprove creation when they can't prove any other theory? Its as plausible a theory as any other...even more so when you consider the rest of the Bible.

i don't believe that most of them actually believe in the magic associated with religion, they just pretend they do. they want everyone to think that they are going to a heaven and all of the honest people are going to a hell. or else there just afraid to admit the truth, just in case.
at least i hope that's they way it is. i would find it very sad that there are actually that many ignorant, gullible people in the world.

I believe in the meaning behind the symbols of those events, which in many cases is more magical.

It's not magical, its miraculous. God can do whatever he wants to. We tend to think of stories in the Bible as just stories, or exaggerations, or similes or metaphors, but why would we want to limit God when he can do anything. Who am I to tell him that a whale didn't swallow Jonah just because today's whales have small throats. If God wanted a whale to swallow Jonah then he will make a way for a whale to swallow Jonah. That's a small miracle, if you ask me, compared to the creation of the world. I'll take the Bible literally until He tells me otherwise.
