I realize what this stems from, but the bible never said that god ONLY created Adam and Eve, this is assumed, and thus so is the conclusion that Adam and Eve had incest with their children.

The Bible does not state anywhere that Adam and Eve had incest with their children. It would have been their children that would have intermarried..
Noah's family was made up of 3 of his sons and three daughters-in-law which probably were not related to each other. In this case cousins would have had to intermarry.
The genetic problem is what bothers me. I have heard that this would have created genetic defects, etc... For this, I don't have an answer.
I do not believe in evolution as the answer for mankind's existence but would this also have been a problem with the first Homo Sapiens? Were there originally 1 that was different from whatever came before and would there not also be a problem with the mingling of genes within that close group? (Don't have all the answers)

1. Cain went out into the world to find his spouse, which suggests Adam and Eve were the first people, not the only ones.

2. The presence of the Nephalim, the children of the daughters of men and the sons of G-d also suggest there were other people

3. Noah’s sons brought their wives. So at worst, they were marrying cousins.

Genesis 4:15-16 But the LORD said to him, "Not so [e] ; if anyone kills Cain, he will suffer vengeance seven times over." Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. 16 So Cain went out from the LORD's presence and lived in the land of Nod, [f] east of Eden.

Genesis 6: 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of G-d went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Geensis: 7:6-7 Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth. 7 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.

I can tell you what I was taught by Christians. That Adam and Eve, being the first humans created, were created with a vast array of different genes. So while their children would have had to marry each other, their genetics were different enough to not cause any abnormalities like they do in today's age.

In fact, there is evidence that (a really long time ago) incest did not necessarily create any genetic abnormalities. It has something to do with the muddling of the gene pool now.

Like I said, this is what I was taught when I went to church and I haven't heard any counter arguments to this gene theory. I'd love to hear some, though.

They did not have incest with their kids. They all had spouses...Adam had Eve...Noah had a wife...all three of Noah's sons had wives. The children of all of them did have to take spouses from among their brothers and sisters, but they were so much closer to human perfection physically that it didn't have the physical effects that incest has now. Even up into the early 1900s many were still able to take spouses from among their first cousins. The reason is not because its morally wrong, but because of the physical damage that can result to their offspring.

This does not bother me because God commanded them to "be fruitful and multiply."
Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

Adam & Eve had sex with each other, not with their children.

A man left his parents and found his women and they became one flesh and had children.

Obviously it didn't hurt them, because the children still lived nearly 1000 years.

Noahs children had their wives with them. I don't call this incest.

Only later when the 10 commandments were given to Israel do we later see to not commit incest. The land of Cannan committed a lot of incest (adulteries & fornications) and idolatries, even sacrificing their children to devils. God told Israel not to do these things, clarifying the sexual immoralities stemming from idolatries. The worst of course is child sacrifices.

Duh. What a dumb question--of course they had incest.

Why it was OK?
1) They were commanded to multiply by God.
2) People hadn't been around long enough to worry about reinforcing recessive genes and other scientific arguments against incest. Mutations and variation hadn't had time to root themselves in our genes.
3) They were the only people in the world. Who else would they have kids with?

The times you mention are nothing like today. The reasons incest is wrong today simply don't apply to their situation.

This is the crux of the matter...

Adam and Eve had MANY children. But they had no accumulated genetic mutations and defects therefore the reason for prohibiting interbreeding within a family was not necessary.
Their children had children amongst themselves.
Noah's children brought husbands and wifes and their offspring had children amongst themselves, a considerable gene pool.

No..because they were not the first people on earth.

If it were true..how do we explain this verse
Deut.32:8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. ??
