How To Conceal Dark Circles

There is only one way to get rid of Dark Circles or Discoloration under the eyes instantly…use a product that covers them up. A lighter shade of regular make-up won’t do the job. It must be a lighter shade of make-up made with Mica and Bismuth Oxychloride, which “reflects light” in your dark areas. (Models use this product when needed because it looks thin and natural yet covers well).

The consistency of this special make-up should be lightweight and not oily, so as not to cause a build up of oil in any lines that may be in this area. Apply evenly and sparingly. I use a small make-up brush to apply it as the brush helps smooth it out evenly. You can apply a Dark Circle cover directly on the skin itself or over a make up base. Whichever you do, make sure you powder over lightly. This “sets” the concealer, keeps it from settling into fine lines and gives it a more natural, finished appearance.

How To More Permanently Get Rid Of Dark Circles

This is not an overnight project. But if you work at it…stay with it…there is a good chance you will be successful. There are several reasons why one can have dark circles, so you will have to work with the complete list below to see what may be causing yours. Yes, heredity can be part of your problem, but that does not mean you are stuck with it. Take the bull by the horns and show your ancestors...by following these suggestions:

* Dark circles under the eyes are often related to “toxicity” in the body. Detoxification of the body, especially the liver, could be helpful. Visit your local vitamin store and they can put you in the right direction to help with this.

* You need to get more circulation going in the dark circle areas: Lightly tap, with one or two fingers, on and around these areas a few times a day. This will help stimulate needed circulation. Moreover, if you improve your nutritional intake, this tapping will also bring richer blood to these tiny blood vessels.

* Use an Alpha-Hydroxy Acid cream under the eyes to encourage circulation and stimulation of cells. (Do not put the Alpha-Hydroxy too close to the eye itself, as your eyes may tear, and never on eyelids). This also aids in tightening of the skin itself, which will give the appearance of lighter circles as the AHA plumps up the tissues.

* Use a rich Eye Cream to nourish these delicate tissues at night.

Hope this helps, I know it did me!!

You will have to tell us how they got there before we can answer. Are you talking about dark circles? Dark circles are caused by lack of sleep. I don't know what "black marks" are caused by.

Try warm damp tea bags. The tanic acid in the tea leaves is what reduces the "bags" and reduces the swelling if any.

were you born with them or is it from lack of rest? If you were born with them, you could try lightening creams just be careful not to get them into your eyes. If they are from lack of rest, get at least 7 hours of sleep nightly.
