So you see I have this crush way back in college but I never had a chance to talk to her because we never had a chance to be classmates and we don't have common friends so it's like "how can I ever be friends with her?"... so to cut the long story: 4 yrs of college have past and I never get a chance to meet her. And now I saw her at myspace so I added her, and she added me as friend. I messaged her saying thanks for adding me and ofcourse she will not reply hehe. So yeah, i think she's single cause that's what her status says lol.

So I really really like her. I want to be her real life friend and I want to ask her out someday for a date. But since school is over, the chances of ever seeing her again in person is astronomical. Can you help me? I would really want to take her on a date :) How would you start?

just send her messages about the things that interest you and she how she responds and ask her what is her favorite food and stuff like that and then ask her if she would like to gout to eat with you and you will get your answer but keep on sending her messages

I'm guessing you two live close enough to each other to date in real life? If a guy I liked or thought was cute emailed me on Myspace, I would email him back if I'm interested, so it doesn't sound good so far.

Email her again, asking her how she's been all these years and if she remembers you - she may not. Just break the ice and get to know her a little better and you will see by her response (or lack of) if the interest in mutual. If it's not, move on!

I would say: "In school I always saw you around but never really got to introduce myself. Would you join me for coffee or a drink sometime?"
