How Does Acne Develop? Sometimes, the hair, sebum, and skin cells clump together into a plug. The bacteria in the plug causes swelling. Then when the plug starts to break down, a pimple grows.

Proactiv is excellent but it is expensive, like $40. You can get the generic version of proactiv. It's called Klear Action and is sold in stores at the mall that sell all the stuff from infomercials on tv. The stores are called "As Seen On TV" and it's only $17.99.
Amazon.com sells it, here's the link:

It works fast to get rid of the acne you have now and will keep it from coming back when used every day.

We know that acne comes from things we eat and that they r most prevalent when we r in our teens (it's something to do with the hormones), there r many products that claim a "cure" or that it can control acne but most r false, personally I recommend Proactive as the best on the market right now to help control or at least minimise acne and the return of acne, as to how to cure it completely or prevent acne from returning that's why there r many pharmaceutical companies competing against each other for this huge market.

Some acne spots happen because of an allergy to something, others because of microscopic parasites (acute adult acne with large painful spots, is very often caused by parasites). There is no actual quick fix cure. You can only stop them coming back if you get rid of the cause. Sorry.

acne spots come from the actual pimples decreasing in size
there are some products that claim to get rid of spots, but ive never really trusted these things over prescription acne meds
they go away in time, just like scabs became light marks in time

Acne is caused by the rising levels of sex hormones. These hormones increase the amount of sebum (the stuff that makes your skin oily)and encourages the development of acne.Try some over the counter products like benzoyl peroxide (aka Panoxyl)If its really bad pop along to the doctor, youd be suprised how helpful they can be.Drink lots of water and dont eat greasy foods like crisps.Good luck!!

I used to get these on my back for years, you must go the doctors there are antibiotics that clear them up now. I wish i had gone years ago. It was a bacterial problem and only prescribed tablets would work.

It can be a problem.Drink plenty of water to flush your system out ,cleanse your skin thoroughly everyday, excess skin oil should be kept under control.Pat your skin dry do not rub it or it will encourage your skin to secrete more oil.Splash your face with cold water to close your pores .If your skin feels dry put a thin layer of moisturiser on,but make sure its non greasy.Lindsay.

We get acne spots because God made us that way, and if you don't want them keep your face clean. If it's really bad go see a dermatologist and have them prescribe the right blemish cream for you. :)
