The KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm offers a master programme in Real Estate Management in English: The Masters programme in Real Estate Management is an advanced
programme in real estate economics and finance that prepares
students for diverse occupations and industries that are involved
with the ownership, development, transfer, and management of
land and buildings. The programme consists of nine months of
coursework and at least five months of thesis work. The coursework
encompasses eight core courses. During the coursework
students will become familiar with a variety of concepts, theories,
techniques and methods in relevant areas, e.g. macroeconomics,
corporate finance, market analysis and real estate valuation. The
thesis gives the student the opportunity to carry out independent
research in an area of interest.
The programme is open for students who have a bachelor’s degree
or equivalent academic qualifications in the fields of real estate,
economics, building technology, land economy, civil engineering,
architecture or some other related area. Work experience is an
