I'm vegetarian so I will give you some recipes that use some good seasonings. Curry is natural - it comes from the curry leaves. Jerk seasoning is natural - its made of allspice, Scotch Bonnet peppers, and a combo of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, thyme, garlic

1. Curry tofu - press all the water out of the tofu. Then cut it into bite-size pieces and let it sit in a mixture of water and curry paste for about an hour. Then pour all the liquid and tofu into a pan and throw in some bell peppers and sprinkle more curry powder on it, and some thyme. Cook until the peppers are done. Serve over rice.

2. Beans and rice - cook kidney beans and season them with some jerk seasoning and scallions. When they are done, put the rice in with them and let it cook to soak up all the liquid. Serve with fresh herb salad, make dressing out of oregano mixed with some lemon or lime juice.

3. Breakfast - cream of wheat made with water or soymilk, hash browns with onions and peppers, oatmeal

I hope this helps!

My husband and I are actually doing a fast right now. We are doing just juices for 21 days. Don't really need a menu for that! LOL!

For you though, fruit salads, if you are going to cook the vegetables, us extra vigen olive oil as it is the most natural. Make a stir fry. If you are going to go raw, a good salad, with lots of veggies. I reccomend romaine for the lettuce. Many more vitamins and nutrients than iceberg. Raw spinach is also good in a salad.

Baked potatoes or steamed potatoes. grilled vegetable inside a roasted green pepper. Make sure you do lots of the most natural juice you can find. Health food stores are great resources. Lots of water.

also smoothies. Get some orange juice and frozen fruit and blend together. Very delicious and filling.

If you get any cramping in your legs or other parts of your body, bananas are the best thing to eat.

If I can find any other recipes I will let you know.

My church does this too, I eat a lot of salads, and like to spice it up w/things like orange slices, sunflower seeds, and raisins. I also go through a lot of soups, stews, and sauces: lots of tomatoes and lots of beans (iron and protein), experiment w/some spices and throw it onto some brown rice. And if you have a juicer, try some fresh juices. They are delicious! You'll be surprised what you can come up with! Also, quite a few online cooking sites have some decent vegetarian recipes, you may want to look into that too. Be blessed!

The last one I did, I made shakes with rice milk with bananas, peaches, carrots, greens and tomatoes with honey. I also had fresh squeezed orange juice. So really, I didn't "eat" anything.

Just remembered, I did eat sliced apples or peaches from time to time when I really got hungry.

Usually a fast is just liquids, and only the clear ones. But that sounds good what you have posted there, very low fat anyway.

In the The BIBLE - Jesus says we can eat Anything we wish.

FASTING happens when one is too busy PRAYING to even think about eating---it is NOT SUPPOSED to be an act in itself!

We are not to FLOG ourselves either!
(All our efforts and acts are as FILTHY RAGS!)

WE WILL NOT IMPRESS THE GOD/Jesus!
