what you talking about my fish watches tv and and talks with his lips moving all the time and he cleans his tank with his little vacume so i dont have to

It would have helped us to answer this question better if you had clearly explained the 'stupid' part. What makes you think that fish are stupid? If you think that being easily trapped by a worm on a hook means they are stupid then almost every animal is stupid because they too can be trapped, including humans by the way! But on a lighter note, I think too much of anything is always bad. They've got too much omega3 for their own good.

Not all intelligence can be measured? Can it? I better post that as a separate question. I mean, is there such thing as spiritual intelligence and intuition. Dolphins are geniuses. Quiet geniuses.

You haven't been fishing with my son - they nibble at worm or fish bait until down to the hook, then give a tug and swim away as much as to say " fill it up again wouldya". I'd call that smart!
