Zinc works better I think. There is a A&D oinment that has zinc in it. Zinc is better on diaper rash.

Zinc oxide has zinc, which is a needed mineral, and helpful to combat infection. A and D ointment is supposed to have those vitamins, which also help. Either is good, maybe if you mixed them half/half the mixture would be better. (either is good)
