Absolutely...all the people telling you it is not possible are wrong. I have an entirely different blood type than both my mother and father (who were the same blood type), but match my grandfathers blood type exactly. My two oldest sons have completely differnt blood types form their dad, me and each other, while my third son has my blood type (O-). Genetics play a large part in it, so your child could just have inherited its blood type from a grandparent....

Unfortunately, no. Absolutely not. O is a recessive blood type. For you and your husband to have the blood type O your genes would have to be oo and oo. A baby would get one from each of you so the only possible combination would be oo. For the baby to have a blood type of A, the father would have to have a blood type of A or AB, his genes could be AA, Ao or AB, in which case the baby would have the genes Ao. Either the one of the blood tests is erroneous or hubby ain't papa. If you need a better description of why this must be so, you can email me or ask your doctor.

Yes it is possible. My parents and I never knew what my blood type was until I got pregnant with my oldest child. Then we found out that I am O+. However, neither one of my parents are are O. We traced the O+ all the way back to my great grandfather...my mother's mother's father. The blood type you and your husband are doesn't necesarilly determine the blood type of your children.

I am not sure about A blood but my husband and I are both O and my son is B+. The doctor said it is possible but not a common thing.

AA, AO, and OA are called A
only OO is called O it means the lack of any A so two O's cannot cross for and A.

Double check everybodies blood type. My husband was a curious when we two positives produced a negative child. I knew I was recessive negative - he didn't know he was.

no longer achieveable. those with style A blood can bypass on both A or O. those with style B blood can bypass on both B or O. those with style O blood can bypass on in trouble-free words O. those with style AB blood can bypass on both A or B. you won't be able to finally end up with a blood style that the moms and dads don't have. A & B are both dominant even as O is recessive. The husband could bypass on both B or O, and the spouse can in trouble-free words bypass on O so the baby could in trouble-free words have both BO (which makes B) or OO (which makes O).

No. If so, your child was switched or your wife cheated on you. My husband is O+, I am O-. All of our kids are O-. The only things your children can be are O+ or O-.

There is no-way that, that is possible. Most children if not all is born with their fathers' blood type.
And to think you are both o types not possible.
switched or not the right father.
sorry to say but that's the way it is.

Nope... because O is a recessive gene. For the same reason, if both parents have blue eyes, the child's eyes will be blue.
